Who can present an oral presentation at the retreat?

Only members of the Fall 2021 Plant Breeding Graduate Program cohort are eligible to participate in oral presentations. Oral presenters should submit a one-page proposal including student name, major, degree, advisor name, crop studied, scholarship type (if any), and a 200-word research abstract of the work to be presented to elianak@ufl.edu by July 12th.
Who can present a poster at the retreat?

Any graduate or undergraduate student conducting research on plant science related to plant breeding may present. Note: We have a limited number of spots open for poster presentations. If you would like to present, register early!
When will I know if I am presenting?

Poster presenters will be notified by July 15th.
What size poster should I bring to the retreat?

Posters should be in landscape orientation and the dimensions need to be 32" x 40” to properly fit the poster board stands.
Is there a poster template available?

There is no specific template required for this event. However, UF provides several templates for academic posters.
